Facets that an Interviewing Officer examines in You
A Job Interview is a situation when a superior person interacts with you and decides your eligibility for getting employed in his organization. Hence, he examines you according to his requirements, it may be your educational qualification, extra co-curricular, skills, etc. But there are many more things which he examines in you which are not officially defined. In simple words, there are many facets that an Interviewing Officer examines in You. These are described below :
- Your Outfits: This is the first thing which is seen by the interviewing officer. As you enter the Interviewing room, the officer waiting for you gets a rough picture about your overall personality by your outfits i.e. dresses you wear, the colors you like, your shoes, etc. So, It is utmost important to have best outfits, By best I am not saying you to buy very expensive clothes or shoes or I am not saying you to buy branded outfits but to those which are clean and tidy, suit to your personality and which makes you feel confident for your Interview.
- Your Facial Expressions: After you enter the interview room, the interviewing officer observes you more precisely and clearly by your facial expressions. The first thing which he observes is your mood. Are you happy, Sad or Neutral ? You must be happy. Else, the Interviewer thinks that you are not interested to interact with him. So, Always give a smiling expression(please don’t show your teeth while smiling, it must be a decent smile) which displays your positivism, confidence and creates an impression over the Interviewer. If possible, have handshake with him which symbolize your willingness, excitement and commitment for your work.
